On 28Jun2016, at 17:15 hours, the workers stopped their work for the day. A black towable (no licence plate located) storage trailer, located on this roadway, on the west side of Fifth Line, approximately 200 metres south of 6651 Fifth Line, Milton, was locked with a metal padlock. Immediately north of this trailer, are two green Greenlee metal storage boxes, both containing twenty-five cubic feet of storage, were secured with a panel and the fork attachment of an articulating boom placed on stop.
On 29Jun2016, at 06:45 hours, the workers returned to the site for the day and noticed that the trailer and one of the storage boxes had been entered. To enter the trailer, the unknown suspects bent the handle, without breaking the lock, and opened the doors. The Greenlee box on the west side, one of two that had been placed immediately north of trailer, had been entered by dragging the box westbound, allowing it to be free of the articulating boom attachment and panel that had been securing it.
After discovering this, police were contacted.
Inside the trailer, the following items were taken: One Honda gas powered generator; a backpack-style cement vibrator; two cement vibrator attachments and a Makita radio.
Inside the Greenlee job box, the following items were taken: one Hilti T70 drill; three Dewalt grinders; one Dewalt sawzall; three Hammer drills; and one Dewalt impact gun.
