Break and Enter (18-92335)
In the evening of March 16 (after mall closing), a break and enter was found to have occurred at WOW Mobile at Mapleview Mall in Burlington, ON.
Three suspects are being sought by Halton Police in connection to the event.
Video evidence shows that one of the suspects stayed in the mall after it closed. This suspect then opened the automatic doors located on the North West side of the mall near Shoppers Drug Mart and two more suspects entered the mall. They then walked directly to the WOW Mobile kiosk.
The suspects put duct tape over the 2 kiosk security cameras and cut their way through a black tarp to gain entry into the kiosk. They then used a pry bar to gain access to locked cupboards in an attempt to access the safes containing cell phones. They were unsuccessful in this attempt. They then fled the scene from the same doors and into a dark coloured Dodge Caravan where their driver was waiting.
The descriptions of the alleged suspects are as follows:
Suspect (1)
Male, possibly Asian, black glasses, black shoes, light coloured ripped jeans, black hat or black hair, blue jacket with hood up.
Suspect (2)
Male, grey track pants, grey zip-up hoodie with white detailing on the zipper, black scarf covering face, 2 strips of duct tape on the sweater.
Suspect (3)
