In the early morning of June 25, a robbery occurred at the Esso/Big Circle at 1170 Guelph Line in Burlington, ON.
One suspect is being sought by Halton Police in connection to the event.
An employee was standing outside of the Esso gas station doors when the suspect ran towards them from the southwest. The suspect pushed the employee inside to the cash register area, going behind the counter. The suspect was in possession of a knife. The suspect took money from the till and told the employee to give him “all the Bellmonts”. The suspect also attempted to open the Tim Hortons’ till but was unsuccessful. The suspect then fled on foot out of the front door and back in the same direction (southwest of the gas station).
The description of the alleged suspect is as follows:
Male - White, late teens or early 20s, slim build, approximate 5'7" to 5'8" wearing dark (possibly black) jeans, a long sleeve black t-shirt, a face mask (black or camo), black toque, black gloves, unknown colour shoes carrying a plain black fabric bag.
