Crime Stoppers of Halton Thanks Local Banks for their Support of the Burlington Shred Event
On June 3rd, 2017, Crime Stoppers of Halton in partnership with FileBank Canada, hosted a shred event in Burlington to help combat identity theft and other fraud. Local banks played an integral role in the success of the event by distributing coupons informing their customers of the event.
On June 23rd, 2017, at HRPS headquarters in Oakville, Ontario, Crime Stoppers of Halton Police Coordinator Jodi Richmond, Board Chair Cal Millar and Halton Chief of Police Steven Tanner met with representatives of the local banks to express their gratitude for the banks on-going support of the Crime Stoppers of Halton program.
